VILLA GIULIA
Villa Giulia takes its name from Giulia Alocco Drigo, one of the first women graduates in physics at Padova University in 1931, later became professor at the same university, and then take a professorship at the University of Ferrara. She married Angelo Drigo, a professor of physics and Rector at the University of Ferrara.
During one of the many excursions that they were used to do in the Garda, they were impressed by the magnificent location of the land on which now stands the villa. In the '60s they decided to build this summer residence, to enjoy the magnificent views that can be seen from this privileged overlooking on the land below.
